Bio
I am a concept artist who enjoys designing props and environments the most. I currently live in Louisiana, but I grew up in North Carolina. I've always loved stories, hearing and reading them. They're like these magical places where you can learn, laugh, and grow without ever experiencing them for yourself. It's why I naturally felt pulled toward History as my chosen degree at NCSU, and concept art as my profession.
Outside of art, I enjoy reading romance novels, drinking lattes, and scrolling TikTok. Sitcoms are my jam. I'll often quote Friends, New Girl, and The Office. I genuinely love "dad jokes," and puns. They make me laugh almost every time.
Why environments and props?
To me, a character is made up of two parts, their physical body, and the world around them. I love thinking about a personality, and finding creative ways to display that in their bedroom, homes, towns, etc.
Plus, environments and props really immerse the viewer into the story. They help create a full experience, allowing us to step outside of our own lives for a moment and into the life of the character. Who wouldn't want to be apart of that kind of storytelling?
